A hidden paradise for music lovers
Magic Time takes place at Perinuša, a riverside clearing near the town of Imotski, in the heart of southern Croatia. It's a place of clear waters, ancient watermills, and protected natural and cultural heritage – once forgotten, now revived by music, love and community.
As the sun begins to set, DJs from across Europe place their needles down on black wax. Every track played is from an actual vinyl record – no laptops, no controllers, no files. These are songs with stories. Forgotten funk, dusty disco, jazz grooves, soul anthems, psychedelic jams, rarities, rock'n'roll and new wave.
Music that once lived on dance floors decades ago – now coming back to life under the stars.
More than music
The festival is free and open to all. The atmosphere is intimate, warm, and family-friendly. You can camp beside the river, swim in clear waters during the day, dance barefoot at night, and explore local handmade crafts and vintage stalls.
A dedicated kids zone ensures that even the smallest visitors can enjoy the magic – with games, workshops, and nature-based activities throughout the day. Parents dance while children chase bubbles. Strangers become friends. There’s local wine, homemade food, and an open invitation to take part – whether you're a die-hard crate digger, a curious traveler, or simply someone tired of noise and speed.
